Hanapepe man sought in gunshot investigation apprehended
LIHUE (HawaiiNewsNow) – A Hanapepe man who was being sought as a person of interest in a criminal investigation has been apprehended, according to Kauai police.

The Kauai Police Department said Jason Bagain, 45, was wanted after officers received a report from Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital that a patient had been treated for a gunshot wound Thursday.
Police previously identified Bagain as a person of interest in the investigation and asked for the public’s help locating him.

In an update released June 6, police said Bagain was apprehended without incident on the evening of June 5.
